$25 covers the cost of refreshments and facilitation by sex therapist Amanda Auchenpaugh, LMSW. Open to all genders and this months book club is for all ages.
Please join us for this ALL AGES PRIDE MONTH EDITION of the Sexuality Book Club! The book is categorized for middle grades but can be great for any age, even younger kiddos with some help! As Athens celebrates its historic inaugural Pride Parade, put on by Athens Pride and Queer Collective, it is imperative that we remember why we celebrate Pride Month where it came from, and who we have to thank for all the progress we've made. Please join us for book club from 10-12 and then head downtown for the parade at 1:30!
Please note: This is an educational class. It is not group therapy, and the facilitator will be unable to provide therapy during the meeting. If you would like referrals for therapy, the facilitator will be happy to provide them.
About the facilitator:
Amanda is a sex therapist at Revolution Therapy and Yoga. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia. Amanda’s sex-negative past spurred her on a journey of self-discovery and self-education. Now her passion is helping others navigate their own journeys.
