Hi! I’m Emma Hilleary, a second year MSW at the University of Georgia, and I am absolutely thrilled to be completing my practicum at Revolution Therapy and Yoga!
I am passionate about supporting clients in experiencing freedom, self-expression, and aliveness. I strongly believe in somatic approaches that center the experience of the body and the nervous system in the ongoing process of healing. I am also deeply passionate about sex education and sex positivity with a focus on empowering clients to build the skills and self-trust needed to explore pleasure, communicate their wants and needs, and honor their boundaries. My goal is to help clients feel safe, supported, and empowered as they reconnect with their inner resources and create lives filled with meaning.
I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and experiences, and I’m so grateful to be part of a community that values accessibility and anti-oppressive practices. My approach is grounded in identifying the unique strengths of each client and building towards more a more fulfilling, authentic experience of life in alignment with the clients’ personal values and goals.
Outside of the clinical sphere, I am a former/forever theater kid, an avid thrifter, a musician, a fierce and loyal friend, an ADHDer, and a queer romance novel enthusiast! I am a white, queer, cisgender woman who grew up in metro Atlanta but has been in the Athens area for over 6 years now! I value play, adventure, curiosity, and connection, and I can’t wait to connect with you!
