This training is for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of the holistic practice of yoga woven with contemporary, trauma-informed techniques as well as those wishing to achieve their Yoga Alliance teaching certification for personal or professional purposes. People from all walks of life and levels of experience are invited to explore and deepen their practice of yoga!
The main focus of this training is to offer students experience and understanding in the realms of asana (movement), alignment and anatomy within a physical practice. We will explore and study the history of yoga, including contemporary developments and influences including trauma-informed approaches to teaching and physiology. Teaching methodology and workshops will be held to empower participants into integrated knowledge and we will explore the history and philosophy of yoga. Meditation and subtle body awareness will also be taught through the lens of the 8 Limbs of Yoga.

6-8PM sometimes shorter and some are quizzes/reflections

Please note, there may be other online aspects, videos, and seminars, but they are recorded and accessible at various times.
Online live sessions will begin at 6PM Eastern time to accommodate work schedules and last from 1-2 hours.
