Lila’s Gentle Flow class creates an atmosphere where everyone can feel welcomed and appreciated. She provides a space to create mind-body connection through gentle movement and deep breathing. Her class will allow a practice that offers nurturing kindness and compassion for the body and mind. This class is accessible for students of all levels who are looking to listen to and acknowledge what their body is communicating. The class ends with a long, restorative Savasana, allowing the body to calibrate and integrate the discoveries made during class so that students can leave feeling refreshed and centered.
Lila is a student at the University of Georgia studying Environmental Economics and Resource Management. She moved to Athens two years ago from Asheville, North Carolina. Lila completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Asheville Yoga Center in 2019. She is continuing her yogic education by pursuing her 300 hour Teacher certification. Her exploration of yoga has awakened her to the beautiful spirituality of all of life. The practice of yoga on the mat allows one to step off the mat and go into the world with more grace, empathy, understanding, and love!
